Your Questions Answered
What age works best for a 24-piece puzzle?
We've designed these for children aged 3-5, though they've found an audience well beyond the nursery set. Some adults appreciate the brief, achievable nature of a smaller puzzle—particularly the XXL Mammut version with its generously sized pieces. Every person develops at their own pace, frankly.
What's the difference between the standard and Mammut puzzles?
The Mammut features XXL pieces—considerably larger and easier to handle than the standard 24-piece. At 69cm x 49cm when completed, it's a more substantial puzzle that works equally well for toddlers still mastering their grip and adults who find standard puzzle pieces unnecessarily fiddly. It's simply a larger, more tactile version of the same concept.
Does the 49-piece come in a tin?
Yes. The metal tin makes it rather more giftable and considerably more portable—ideal for travel, or simply keeping pieces corralled when puzzle time is interrupted by real life.
Can I see before I buy?
Absolutely. Our design tool shows you precisely how your puzzle will look before you order. No unwelcome surprises.
What makes a photograph work well?
Clarity, colour, and simplicity. Close-ups of faces, uncomplicated compositions, images with good contrast. With fewer pieces, simpler imagery creates more enjoyable puzzles. Think bold rather than subtle, clear rather than atmospheric.
