Positively Puzzling Autumn/ Winter 2025 Competition Terms and Conditions

 

The prize: Four winners will receive a signed Aimee Stewart Mermaid’s Treasure 1000-piece puzzle.

 

Promotional materials giving information about the competition, including details on how to enter, also form part of the Terms and Conditions for the competition. In the event of any inconsistency between terms referred to in the promotional material and the terms and conditions detailed below, the Terms and Conditions stated here take precedence.

  1. No purchase necessary.
  2. The competition is open to residents of the UK and ROI only who are aged 18 years or over on the competition closing date. It is not open to employees or their families of the Ravensburger Group.
  3. The competition closes at 11.59pm on 31st December 2025.
  4. Only one entry per household.
  5. Ravensburger reserves the right to immediately disqualify any entrant suspected of attempting to circumvent entry rules or entering fraudulently.
  6. Entry is via the method detailed in the promotional material, which is our customer magazine Positively Puzzling.
  7. The Prize: Four winners will each receive a Mermaid’s Treasure 1000-piece puzzle signed by Aimee Stewart. No cash alternative will be given. 
  8. The promoter reserves the right to provide a prize of equal or greater value where the stated prize is no longer available for reasons outside of the promoter’s control.
  9. Winners will be selected at random using a digital randomiser.
  10. The promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  11. The winner will be contacted by email within 28 days of the competition closing date. If the winner does not respond within 21 days of this contact, regrettably the prize is forfeit and another winner will be chosen.
  12. Prizes will be sent by courier to an address in the UK or Republic of Ireland only. PO boxes are not accepted.
  13. Ravensburger accepts no responsibility for any entrants providing incorrect or incomplete contact details, or for entries that do not register correctly.
  14. Ravensburger retains the right to suspend or terminate the competition for good cause at any time. Such a good cause can be in particular when correct execution of the competition is obstructed or prevented. In such a case, all claims by participants are excluded.
  15. Our winners may be announced via Ravensburger-owned websites and social media channels. By submitting their entry, entrants agree to this publicity, which will include the naming of the entrant (first name and county).
  16. By entering the competition, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  17. These terms and conditions are supplementary to the standard Ravensburger terms and conditions outlined below.
  18. Any data taken during the entry process for this competition will be used for the purposes of administering this competition only and will be deleted following the full execution of the activity. Please see our Privacy Policy.

Positively Puzzling Spring/Summer 2025 Competition Terms and Conditions

The prize: One winner will have their pet featured in a Ravensburger puzzle and receive six copies of the finished manufactured puzzle.

Promotional materials giving information about the competition, including details on how to enter, also form part of the Terms and Conditions for the competition. In the event of any inconsistency between terms referred to in the promotional material and the terms and conditions detailed below, the Terms and Conditions stated here take precedence.

  7. The Prize: There is one winner who will have their pet included in a future Ravensburger puzzle. The date and design of the puzzle that the pet is to be included in is to be determined. Ravensburger does not make any guarantee to prominence of the winning pet in the puzzle. The size and nature of the winning pet's inclusion in the puzzle may vary based on the design requirements and artistic discretion. The winner will also receive six copies of the finished puzzle.  The prize is as stated and is non-transferable. No cash alternative will be given. 
  8. Eligible Pets: Entrants may submit any type of pet, provided they own the pet and can provide a clear photo of at least 1MB in size and in JPEG, PNG or PDF format. f the animal at the point of entry. Ravensburger reserves the right to exclude photos from the competition at its discretion if they do not meet the required technical quality or if the photo is deemed offensive or otherwise incompatible with Ravensburger's brand image.
  9. By entering their pet’s photo for the competition, the entrant is granting Ravensburger the right to use a likeness of their pet in a jigsaw puzzle. The entrant guarantees that they are the owner of all rights to the photo, including the image itself and all legally protectable elements depicted in it. The entrant also guarantees that the photo submitted does not infringe on any third-party rights or legal provisions. The entrant grants Ravensburger all rights to use the photo in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, including the right to edit, develop, produce, and distribute the photo as a puzzle motif or part of a puzzle motif. The ownership of the final image designed will belong entirely to Ravensburger and the entrant will not have the possibility to withdraw their consent once the image has been approved. The entrant will not receive any form of royalty from any proceeds of the puzzle.
  10. The promoter reserves the right to provide a prize of equal or greater value where the stated prize is no longer available for reasons outside of the promoter’s control.
  11. The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges including a Ravensburger representative and an independent art expert. The panel will evaluate the entries based on predefined criteria such as creativity, originality, adherence to the competition theme, and suitability as a puzzle image. The suitability as a puzzle image includes considerations of the technical quality of the photo and its adaptability into the puzzle design. The decision-making process will be conducted fairly and transparently. The final decision will rest with Ravensburger.

General Competition Terms and Conditions

1) Where there is a discrepancy between these standard terms and conditions and the details in the promotional material or any other details provided at the time of entry, the details in the promotional material shall prevail.

2) Entry is open to residents of the UK and ROI only, except employees and their families of Ravensburger, its agents and any other companies associated with the competition. You may be requested to provide a proof of purchase to validate your entry.

3) Entrants must be aged 18 years or older at the closing date.

4) Only one prize will be issued per household per competition.

5) The prize is as stated on the competition information promoted on our website or social media channel and above. No cash alternatives are offered and prize is not transferable.

6) Ravensburger Ltd reserves the right to provide a prize of equivalent or greater value where the stated prize becomes no longer available.

7) Closing date is as stated on the competition information promoted via our website or nominated social media channel.

8) In order to be entered into the competition, entrants must comply with entry requirements stated for the competition you are entering. For example these may include ‘retweeting’ our competition or ‘following’ our social media channel. Please see specific entry requirements on the nominated competition promotional channel.

9) Winners will be notified within 21 days of closing date of the competition via the social media account that they entered the competition. Failure to respond to our contact with 14 days will mean unfortunately that the prize is forfeited on this occasion.

10) Prizes will be delivered to a UK or ROI address only. A correct address and contact telephone number must be provided to facilitate delivery. Ravensburger will accept no responsibility for prizes that fail to be delivered due to incorrect details being provided.

11) Ravensburger takes no responsibility for unreceived or incomplete entries.

12) Winners agree to the use of their name and county be used in post-win publicity and to co-operate with additional reasonable requested by the promoter to participate in post-win publicity – this may include but not be limited to provision of a photo of winner with their prize for use on social media channels and Ravensburger's website

13) Winners are chosen by random prize draw from the entries fulfilling the entry criteria unless otherwise stated. No correspondence will be entered into.

14) Surname and town of winners can be obtained by emailing [email protected] no sooner than six weeks after the closing date.

15) Ravensburger reserves the right to terminate the competition or alter the terms of the competition at any time.

16) Any entrant found to be using or creating multiple social media profiles for the purposes of entry will be disqualified. Similarly automated or robotic entries submitted by companies or individuals will also be disqualified. Any entry containing defamatory language or messaging considered by the promoter to be inappropriate will be disqualified from the competition.

17) The listing of any competitions on third party websites or apps such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook does not imply that said third parties in any way endorse competition, brand or product.

18) By entering the competition entrants agree to be bound by the promoter’s Privacy Policy.

19) By entering the competition entrants agree to be bound by and comply to the terms and conditions.

20) By entering the competition entrants agree to the use of their names and images in publicity and use of these images on our website and social media channels.
