What’s Disney Lorcana like to play?
Lorcana is super easy to pick up and play, but there’s a lot of depth to explore if you want to become a master. Gameplay is a unique mixture of strategy and creativity, and it’s great fun for trading card game experts and beginners alike.
All of our starter decks contain balanced decks, but as you start developing your own strategies and ways to play you can build your own deck to focus on particular skills.
Different play styles are represented by different ink colours on the cards. There are six in total, with amber focused on healing and protection, amethyst centred around magic, emerald specialising in trickery and disruption, ruby being aggressive and fast, sapphire excelling in resource management and long-term strategy and steel prioritising strength and defence.
A Lorcana deck can use up to two ink colours, so you can mix and match specialities and even collect separate decks for when you feel like playing in different styles.
